Overview of Services
MHI is a certified SAP R/3 Implementation Partner and Accelerated SAP Partner with SAP America, Inc. SAP is the leading provider of inter-enterprise software solutions that integrate the processes within and among enterprises and business communities.
The core enterprise applications in SAP R/3 of financial accounting, logistics and human resources help companies link their business processes, tying together disparate business functions to synchronize an entire enterprise to run more smoothly. SAP R/3 is the most widely accepted enterprise application product on the market today. With more than 22,000 installations worldwide, it has become a de facto standard platform for enterprise application software.
MHI efforts in the SAP market are built around mySAP.com, the SAP Internet business strategy. In particular, the Firm focuses on the following aspects of an SAP implementation:
Business Intelligence
MHI is a leader in the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions in SAP R/3Ò environments. MHI has worked closely with Business Objects Software in integrating Business Objects Info reporting tools into SAP implementations, thereby enabling our clients to achieve significant cost savings compared to creating reports using ABAP/4. The firm has implemented Business Objects Software OLTP and OLAP solutions comprising over 200,000 seats within SAP R/3 installations.
E-commerce and Supply Chain Integration
MHI focuses on the integration of electronic commerce solutions into SAP R/3Ò. The electronically-enabled supply chain is becoming a key characteristic of ERP implementations. Our consultants and project managers have the crucial combination of SAP module expertise and interface development knowledge required to deliver successful e-commerce projects.
Internet Customer Relationship Management
A core element of supply chain integration projects is to enable the company sales force to connect to the backend systems to effectively use price and production and/or service planning data for their sales efforts. In addition, information gathered by the sales force about the customers, their preferences, orders, and other information vital for tactical and strategic business planning, can be filtered back to the decision makers in the central organization.
These and the latest development in this field, namely the controlled connection of the customers themselves to the corporate systems for order placement and tracking via the Internet, is the third of the four focus areas of MHI. We bring the needed industry and project management experience to the table to lead our customers to greatly enhance their return on investment of their ERP implementation.
SAP Business Workflow
Integrated workflow in SAP R/3 provides the ability to deliver substantial business process and cost benefits to an organization by automating the flow of information in an enterprise. The construction of workflow in R/3 requires multi-discipline R/3 capability allied with business experience specific to the areas where workflow delivers the greatest benefits. MHI consultants have this experience and have delivered some of the most complex SAP Business Workflow implementations in the world on time and within budget. Please ask for our customer references.

SAP Planning
Proper planning is critically important to the success of any system implementation. A major reason for our firm's long-term success has been our emphasis on helping clients plan their implementations in detail. Our planning capabilities fall into two categories: generic and product-specific. Generic planning involves such activities as:
Definition of user requirement
Mapping of workflows
Cost/benefit analysis of alternatives
Recommendation of network, hardware, and software tools and configurations
Development of detailed system specifications
Many of our clients choose to do much of the initial planning on their own. They often come to us with specifications already developed to some degree. If these specifications call for implementation of SAP products, there are several SAP-specific planning tools that we employ to complete the planning process . These SAP-specific tools are:
SAP-ServicePack
SAP-MHI Planning Kit
SAP-MHI Shortcut Review
SAP-ServicePack
For clients interested in taking advantage of all of the features and capabilities of SAP, Myers-Holum offers the SAP-ServicePack, which:
Educates clients about SAP products, examining in detail the specific client needs addressed by these product.
Produces a detailed deliverable in the form of a workplan - i.e. a "roadmap" for the client's implementation of SAP products.
Provides estimates of the accounting and IS resources that will be needed for specific implementation tasks, thereby allowing clients to precisely budget resources required for varying implementation scenarios.
Some clients require somewhat less assistance with BroadVision implementation planning. They already know exactly what they want. Their focus is on installing the product and accessing appropriate data quickly and cheaply. However, they also want guidance on their customization efforts, as well as estimates of resource requirements and time-to-completion.
MHI has developed an approach that will help these clients to customize their SAP implementations efficiently, as well as provide them with the resource planning estimates they require. Contact your local MHI office for a SAP-MHI Planning Kit.
SAP-MHI Shortcut Review
In addition to the above services, Myers-Holum offers a wide spectrum of other products, services and workshops for SAP users. Consequently, we have been able to compile an impressive array of procedures, proprietary software tools, and experiences that can shave significant resource hours and days-to-complete from virtually any SAP project.
