Select Intellectual Capital Asset:
MHI’s intellectual capital assets are a by-product of our quality program. It is used to address best practices, work standards, project audit and customer satisfaction objectives of our practice delivery function, as follows:
  • Led by an overall Project Management / Quality Assurance subject matter expert (SME) with significant relevant experience and reporting directly to MHI’s President.
  • Includes company policies and procedures for continuous improvement of our practice delivery process via a well-defined, structured methodology with well-defined performance metrics
  • Requires QA review of all MHI’ practice delivery (projects) at specified intervals, including (1) review of all proposed work (scope, approach, timetables and deliverables), (2) completion of QA checklists at the start of a project to identify risk and corresponding risk mitigation strategies and (3) post-project debriefing sessions with project management to identify lessons learned, refine best practices and methodology
  • Includes independent, interim project review of project status, critical path activities and deliverables by the QA SME at critical milestones on high-risk projects
  • Requires clarity at the beginning of the project via well-defined project objectives, scope and deliverables that are approved by the customer prior to beginning work
  • Adheres to an overall theme of “Plan the Work and then Work the Plan”
  • Corrective action procedures are initiated by the QA manager at any of the points identified above (i.e. proposal, QA checklist, critical project milestones and interim / post project review), and include specific ad hoc activities to (1) resolve any outstanding issue(s) (2) bring the project back to a satisfactory status (3) satisfy any customer satisfaction issues, and finally (4) update MHI’ methodology, work standards and best practices.
